Zach is a combat veteran who served in the Navy. In November 2025, he was joined by his brother, who is also a veteran, on a 5-day backcountry hunt with Broken Hart Adventures. While they didn't have luck getting an elk, Zach harvested a nice Mule Deer buck and spent some much needed quality time with his brother in some of Montana's most beautiful country.
