In October 2025, Trooper Lewis Johnson, a state trooper who was critically injured in the line of duty, and his family enjoyed a five-day elk hunt at West Creek Ranch in Emigrant, Montana.
Lewis's trip was one of seven Montana adventures Big Hearts donated to families in 2025.
