Brandon G. Kern, 30, of Billings, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017, in Billings. Brandon was born in West Covina, Calif., on Jan. 28, 1987. He moved with his mother and brother to Gillette, WY in 1990. He graduated from Campbell County High School in 2005, and moved to Billings in the fall of 2005.He married Sara Brandenberg on Sept. 14, 2014, in Las Vegas, Nev. He worked in Metra Maintenance for Yellowstone County and was a member of the Teamsters Local 190. Growing up he participated in Little League, Babe Ruth, Wrestling, Football and Weight Lifting. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing guitar and gaming.He is survived by his wife, Sara of Billings; his parents, Dennis and Sherry (Morrison) Bertoncelj of Gillette, Wyo.; his brother, Bryan Kern of Billings; a nephew, Kayden Molder of Gillette, Wyo., and a niece, Allison Kern of New Prague, Minn.A memorial has been established in his name and donations may be made to: “Big Hearts under the Big Sky Program” 5 Microwave Hill Road, Suite I, Montana City, MT 59634.
